Directed all aspects of network broadcast facility; supervised 40 network operations technicians and supervisors charged with running a master control facility. Developed, controlled $6 million capital budget and $10 million operating budget. • Spearheaded development and implementation of an emergency back-up system at an uplink facility. • Researched and designed a new, fully automated digital facility. • Project managed “store and forward” system rolled out nationwide. • Saved $1 million annually by designing, implementing a live squeeze-back system featuring automation and an MPEG server. Collaborated with vendors to write a White Paper on the squeeze-back system. • Participated in Think Tank to develop design, budget, and develop staff for a digital facility rebuild incorporating video servers, automation, near-line storage libraries, asset management systems.
