Developed plan, then hired and led 75 technical and operations staff, including production and post-production engineers, technical managers, scheduling, videotape library, network operations. Directed all technical aspects of production center, broadcast facility. Prepared, managed $10 million operating and $10 million capital budget. • Successfully launched the network to 8 million homes in 2000. • Saved $1 million by planning and executing transition from analog to digital transmission, and $500,000 per year by doubling duplication facilities, enabling more in-house work. • Hired entire engineering and operations staff; facilitated five layoffs and the subsequent reorganizations of staff. • Served as team leader for a research project on digital asset management solutions. • Project construction manager for large studio; successfully rebuilt in six weeks. • Created fiber network with 12 TB of shared storage and robotic near-line storage for Final Cut Pro editing systems. • Patent application for interactive web-television display system. • Co-leader of Disaster Recovery planning team
