Daily Duties at Western Pacific Building Materials:
Maintained GL accounts and excel spreadsheets and other accounting tasks as requested; Maintained and updated Fixed Assets and Depreciation Schedules, and prepared daily incomes versus expenses reports for branches for multi-states; Reconciled bank statements and all balanced sheet accounts; Assisted in month end closings as well as prepared and analyzed financial statements; Review, investigated and correct errors and inconsistence in financial entries, documents and reports; Maintained and submitted Caferteria Plan (FSA) and 401K transactions for 300 employees as well as compiled the year end compliance testing and filed Form 5500. Prepared the year end audits materials included audits confirmation to customers, Form 1099 and addressed questions and materials to both government agencies and independent auditors; Assist in inventory counts and filed sales tax returns and other tax filings; Served as a backup for processing ADP payrolls and accounts payable; Reviewed, investigated and corrected any discrepancies in payrolls,invoices and cash receipts
