Daily Duties at Emerson Process Management:
•Procured components for wireless system serving Mod Bus Controller ($10,000 budget). Designed methods to integrate and test the wireless system. Validated assumptions about how the system is used in the field. •Developed rationale for buying specific systems components, developed tests and measurements to characterize and prove out each radio/antenna system (six in all), and presented the test results. •Investigated different system configurations with variance in height of antenna, location near noise sources, introduction of attenuation, and characterization in an anechoic chamber.
