Daily Duties at Accenture:
Promoted twice, from entry level recruiting support staff to a full lifecycle recruiter within four years. Experienced Hire Recruiter (5/2000 – 2/2002) Hired experienced technical architects and researchers into various Accenture groups. Delivered hires in the Security Technology and Research and Innovation (R&D) groups. • Conducted full life-cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates, managing the interview process, conducting screening and behavioral interviews, working out offers with key stakeholders, delivering offers, and the onboarding of new hires. • Worked continually with key stakeholders (Hiring Managers) to ensure recruiting activity was gauged appropriately to meet business need. • Special projects included creating a ‘candidate selling messages’ presentation for our search firm affiliates as well as assisting our HR department with the internal scheduling process. • Completed all required administrative tasks, including working with recruiting support personnel, collecting feedback from interviewers and required information from candidates, setting interviews and interview days, maintaining candidate data, etc. • Sourced qualified candidates from Internet sites and Accenture’s internal resume database. • Managed activity and education of contracted search firms. • Assisted in the training of new recruiters or team members. • Served as a Knowledge Integrator for Accenture’s Americas Resume Management System. Recruiting Analyst (9/1999 – 5/2000); Recruiting Assistant (2/96 – 9/1999) Supported U.S. Recruiting Leader who led teams in charge of the recruitment of experienced consultants. Teams members were based throughout the U.S. and Canada. • Primary information resource and communication liaison for the Recruiting team, ensuring the distribution of directives, firm policies, and best practices in recruiting. • Collated, calculated and reported the group's fiscal year recruiting status on a monthly basis to the Leadership Partners, Americas-region Human Resources personnel, and team members. • Participated in the improvement of the firm's recruiting tracking system initiatives. • Arranged Recruiting Team meetings on a quarterly basis. Scheduled, coordinated, and conducted biannual Recruiter and Recruiting Assistant meetings. • Assisted with the orientation of new Recruiters and Assistants. • Processed executive candidate resumes, scheduled interviews, collected interview feedback, new hire onboarding, corresponded with candidates, managed the activity of retainer/ contingency search firms, and the reported to Hiring Managers and Associate Partners on the status of candidates.
