Owner responsible for success and day-to-day operation of four women’s 30 minute fitness franchises in the Elgin, IL area. • Sourced, recruited, trained and managed staff, including three Managers as well as hourly coaching staff. Staff numbered more than 25. Successfully developed and delivered employee training to each staff member. • Developed and delivered a 4-week Challenge curriculum to guide members through Curves’ Weight Management (diet) Program. • Responsible for running EFT drafts for members’ dues, bookkeeping (using QuickBooks), payroll, quarterly tax and employment reporting, bank account reconciliation, and research of any inappropriately billed charges. • Developed and delivered motivational programs designed to increase attendance, improve members’ results, and drive new business. • Coordinated local advertising. • Completed state and franchise required reporting. • Managed inventory, including products for sale and items needed for club maintenance. • Provided customer service, including signing up new club members, managing difficult situations with customers, coaching members during workouts, and providing nutritional guidance for members.
