Daily Duties at Accenture:

Alumni Recruiter Invited back to Accenture as a member of the alumni outreach recruiting team, aimed at rehiring alumni and strengthening alumni relations. • Evaluated approximately 150 alumni resumes each month; researched rehire eligibility and assessed likelihood of successful placement at Accenture. • Process Improvement: Worked with team members develop candidate prioritization criteria to speed processing and place the bulk of the effort on working with viable candidates. • Reached out personally to (on average) 100 qualified alumni each month. • Placed talented alumni in roles even when openings were not immediately available by using knowledge of Accenture’s internal structure and reaching out to recruiters in relevant groups who had upcoming needs. • Provided HR leadership with custom reports based on data from Candidate Management Systems. Also performed backups of candidate data. • Maintained alumni data in recruiting and alumni database systems (especially Taleo and AIRS). • Conducted the Alumni Recruiting piece of Accenture’s New Recruiter Training every other month; also onboarded and trained a new team member for the Alumni Recruiting Team. • Communicated daily with recruiters to ensure federal and company HR compliance standards were met. Behavioral Interviewer Conducted up to 10 behavioral interviews per week via telephone with prescreened Accenture candidates (all levels and industries), utilizing Accenture’s proprietary behavioral interviewing methodology. • Provided hiring recommendation and supporting evidence from the interview to hiring managers and recruiters for each candidate interviewed.

Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
