Daily Duties at Ymca:

•Plan, develop and implement weekly lesson plans that fit the children’s needs, interests, and developmental levels in the classroom. •Work cooperatively with Assistant Teacher, Site Administrator, and other staff members. •Document attendance, absenteeism, transitions, minor disciplines and incidents for each child in the classroom. •Effectively communicate verbal and written reports to the parents. •Conduct parent/teacher conferences in accordance with center guidelines. •Document and report to supervisor any special needs or problems of individual child. •Attend staff meetings, staff activities, and training workshops. •Ensure children’s social, physical, spiritual, and mental development in the program.
