Daily Duties at Rowan Cabarrus Com. Col.:
Responsible for all academic advising. Responsible for all COOP Programs (apprenticships, Internships, Clinicals & Preactice Teaching experiences. Responsible for directing the General Occupational Technology Degree Program. Developer and Dir. of all Innovative High School Programs. In this role I had to work with the state, NC University system, NC Community College System and Department of Publis Instruction to establish programs in which high school students received an excellerated high school education and obtained a 2 yr. degree or two years of transferrable credit in the 4 yrs. of high school (whether online or on the college campus. (2 Early Colleges, Learn & Earn Online, Huskins Academies & Online Program. Most of these involved first writing Planning Grants and obtaining them and then writing Implementation Grants and obtaining them. Finally successfully running the programs.
