Daily Duties at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc.:
Provided Level 1 Mainframe Help Desk support for approximately 350 various ACS, Inc. clients. Duties included recording details of problem via online trouble ticket, troubleshooting issue, finding successful resolution to issue when possible or routing issue to appropriate Level 2 team. Additional duties included performing follow-up on trouble ticket to verify problem was resolved to client’s satisfaction. As a VSE system operator, daily duties included monitoring IBM VSE mainframe systems for ACS, Inc. clients Southwest Airlines and Genlyte Corp. Additional duties included execution of batch job cycles, verifying successful completion of batch jobs, and performing troubleshooting duties with offsite application programming staff in event of batch job failure.
