Employment History: Stowe Contracting Inc., Central Coast, CA 2001 – 2008 Supervisor/ Estimator • Bid off of Architectural drawings and accurately compute footages, areas etc. in preparation for material and labor takeoffs. • Conduct job walks and compile accurate, complete bids in an efficient manner for exterior and interior scopes of work. • Maintain complete and accurate documentation on material quotes, subcontractor proposals, bid clarifications, etc. • Supervise subcontractor activities in accordance with subcontract obligations. • Assure work is performed to the highest standards that fully meet customer expectations. J&B Building Co. Skills and Experience: As Supervisor/ Estimator of construction projects: • Delegate workload • Read and interpret Blueprints • Interface with sub-contractors, take-offs from prints and order material, walk through requested inspections, and handle all phases of building through closeout. • Light commercial experience as well. (School/Restaurant) Computer Skills: • Provide Planning and Scheduling production updates with Project software. • Estimating work as needed to conform to contractual obligations with the use of Sage Masterbuilder software. • Proficient with MS Office applications and Power Point-Excel-Word-Outlook. • Versed On Screen Take-Off. Additional Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Results oriented, self-starter with the ability to prioritize and produce quality work in an efficient manner. Very good people skills and a team player attitude. Education: Homestead High, Sunnyvale, CA Diploma Apprenticeship Program, San Jose, CA White School Attended Cabrillo College, Central Coast, CA CEM Program * To complete program Summer 2009
