Daily Duties at Vernay Lab Inc:
• Demonstrated innovative new ideas, new concepts, superior marketing plans, implemented new cutting edge technology & developed numerous highly lucrative and strategic vendor alliances; reporting directly to the CEO for nearly 7 years and working in close partnership with the senior management team. • Direct reports of 10 employees including engineers, production managers, administrative and technical resources. • Responsible for contributing to the Global company new and innovative ways of molding. Generate new sales and opportunity for $US10million per annum. • Develop new ways of Automation for Lean Cell. Generate cost save for $US5million year. • Develop new source for tools and equipment in Asia. • Develop new parts line for medical use; activity included sales, development, and introduction to the market. Total annual sales in excess of $US5million • Change and update old method of operation; implement business improvement to operations. • Lead several new projects in Asia/Europe; projects included locating new vendors based on specific needs, vendor selection, prototyping, engineering, through to exporting parts – responsible for vendor selection of key business partners in Singapore, China & India. • Develop new processing and/or technologies in response to specific selling opportunities. • Help develop effective relationships with machinery and raw material "partners", responsible for supporting numerous manufacturing improvement activities. • Maintain awareness of new development in rubber elastomeric and responsible for producing high precision rubber parts; supplying to niche lucrative markets. • Hiring personal inclusive of recruitment, induction, training and ongoing performance management. • Responsible for developing several new markets including new customers in the Irrigation and Automotive industries. • Responsible for promoting new technologies for Vernay headquarters in USA; example of technologies include liquid silicone rubber moulding. Responsible for identifying raw materials and technology needed to manufacture.
