Daily Duties at Oregon Health And Science University:
As a research fellow I designed and preformed in vivo and in vitro studies aimed at characterizing the role of sex hormones in a mouse model of multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Using a variety of immunoassays I investigated into the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic efficacy of E2. I achieved numerous original contributions in the area of neuroimmunology with implications for the new drug development and future treatment of the patients with MS. These scientific achievements have been published in highly regarded scientific journals as well as presented at national and international meetings. My responsibilities included managing laboratory staff, preparing written and oral presentations for group meetings, writing fellowships grant proposals.
