• Worked closely with Integrated Program Account Manager and Online Sales Manager to create sophisticated ad programs, involving multiple IDG properties, to support growing emphasis on online and digital initiatives. • Created and issued detailed territory activity reports for the CEO. •Assisted Online Sales Director with preparation of online RFPs. • Primary sales and service contact for agencies and clients. • Prepared and submitted responses to agency RFPs. • Created sales presentations and proposals, and assisted in creation of corporate contracts. • Team regularly met and exceeded revenue goals for print display, online and events. • Secured programs from and built relationships with several major accounts that had been advertising with competitors. • Performed expanded duties when territory was without an Account Director. • Conceived and executed several well-received marketing programs. • Created and maintained sales and revenue reports for Account Director and Publisher. • Secured print positioning for ad agencies as liaison between agency media /account people and Computerworld production department. • Supplied pricing and production information (deadlines, mechanical specs, editorial calendars, etc.) to agency contacts. • Tracked advertising in competitive publications, for review by Account Director. • Arranged luncheons and sales presentations for the Account Director, including creation and preparation of sales materials.
