Directed team of DBAs supporting 15 production database systems and over 25 development and integration systems ranging in size from 300 gig to 2 terra bytes. Guided development teams in testing and tuning new code and integration of purchased applications. Interfaced regularly with Oracle Support team on identification and patching of new bugs and issues. Spearheaded design, development, installation and testing of Oracle database systems supporting applications including JDA (Merchandising), Lawson (Accounting), Blue Martini (Marketing), Point of Sale, and other specialized systems. Provided support for sizing, performance, end user support, and security of existing Oracle Database environments. Developed and implemented security protocol for production systems and relative environments. Consulted on implementation of JDA (Merchandising) system as the primary data tool for financial reporting, trend analysis, and warehouse replenishment.
