Daily Duties at Rush University Medical Center:

Lead the design, installation and configuration of Oracle environments to support new applications and implement them on newly purchased hardware. Educate and support development personnel in utilization of database environment. Track and report growth, performance and interconnectivity of multiple database environments through design and implementation of effective monitoring processes. Develop and implement security system to ensure patient data confidentiality. Recommend hardware additions in support of database growth. Allocate additional space to database environments as required through daily tracking of database size.
