Delivered and supported Specialty Pharmacy business systems by integrating information, business process, and technology in cost effective, timely manner. Directed, managed, planned, and administered operational and administrative activities of the Specialty Pharmacy line of business. Developed plans for technical solutions to meet business needs of corporation across business areas, groups and divisions, and implemented those solutions with timely and cost-justified products. Managed assimilation of Specialty Pharmacy Information Technology into the corporation upon Aetna’s completion of the Pharmacy buyout. • Implemented Oracle 9i database, Real Application Clusters (RAC), and Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.9 (Upgraded to 11.5.10.2), which included CRM, Distribution, SFA, Order Management, Supply Chain Management, and Financials • Created Custom Pharmacy workflow and distribution integration with Oracle e-Business Suite via Java J2EE version 1.4 and multiple versions of Sun JREs beginning with 1.4.2 up to 1.5.0_11 • Directed teams of 5 direct and up to 55 indirect reports (including off shore development) • Managed $6 million budget versus $700 million in revenues • Migrated local Data center servers and all associated applications to Corporate Data Center • Managed application upgrades (Java, Oracle database and eBusiness Suite, Red Hat) • Installed Avaya Auto dialer capabilities, saving company $500,000 annually • Converted and upgraded imaging solution from unsupported version to new capability
