Daily Duties at Worth Chemical:
Promoted rapidly through positions of Cost Accountant, AP Accountant to Assistant to the Controller of Worth Chemical. Audit/debit all supplier and freight invoices for five divisions of Worth Chemical. System correction of any cost changes. Maintain rebates and special costs initiated by the sales dept. Analysis of dept production costs and provide recommendations for improvement. Audit and payment of all invoices for five divisions. Total money approx 1.3 million per/mo. Responsible for vouchering of all invoices and post to GL accounts. Generate all checks for payment. Reconciliation of trial balance sheets. Implemented a new filing system, drastically increasing the efficiency of document retrieval throughout the company. Assisted in all aspects of financial management. P&L, Bal Sheet, IS, Statement of CF, adjusting JEs, Trial balance prep, Variance reports, Bank Reconciliation, Cost Summaries, Inventory, Tanker usage cost studies, Budget sheet prep.
