Daily Duties at Empire Die Cast:
Supervised 40 first-shift employees in the aluminum, zinc, and magnesium die cast department. Responsible for the operation and production of 14 Wedge Lock die cast machines from 200 to 600 tons, 2 Prince machines from 800 to 1,200 tons, and 5 B&T machines from 400 to 600 tons. Hired, motivated and terminated employees. Managed all safety issues and requirements for the shift. . Reduced scrap and increased production while simultaneously assuring that quality was at it’s best. . Built a strong, cohesive team of employees dedicated to meeting company goals.
