Daily Duties at Cequent Pharmaceuticals, Inc.:
• Supervised two RAs; reported to the Director of Development and Vice President • BSL2, GLP experience • Liaison to CMO and outside academic collaborators (Althea Technologies, San Diego, CA; Center for Biomedicine and Genetics, City of Hope, Duarte, CA; MIT, Cambridge, MA; Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA; Institute Pasteur, Paris, France) • Established fermentation/manufacturing lab (2- and 5-Liter bioreactors/shake flasks) • Developed assays for stability, purity, identity, and potency of bacterial strains PCR-based assays Fluorescent staining of key protein components Restriction digest to identify presents of shRNA Detection assays for traces of kanamycin and diaminopimelic acid • Analyzed, interpreted, and presented data at weekly meetings • Authored CMC section of IND; Master and Working Cell Bank reports; and SOPs
