Daily Duties at Freelance:
Proofreading: remove language, grammar and punctuation errors; send proofs with corrections to be reprinted and read corrected proofs; Copy Editing: compare proofs with original copy to detect errors in printed material, polish language (adjust sentence structure, word choice, fluidity, concision); Formatting: review to ensure that document complies with requested or required style guidelines, edit as necessary; Developmental Editing: proofread and copy edit, make adjustments to structure and content and rewrite as needed.
