Daily Duties at Sun Microsystems Inc:

Managed and worked with a group of 9 people that supported 5 R&D labs for the network products division of Sun. Work in the labs included a ASIC compute farm running Cadence for chip development, NFS servers for storage of project data. Other labs included board bring up, system level bring up, and as well as software products. Acted as network administrator for over 700 networks maintaining Cisco networking equipment for IOS releases and resolving network issues. Attended product team meetings to give status updates, and plan lab space for projects. Acted as capital equipment coordinator for desktops and lab equipment forcasting and budgeting. As new products were started I insured that all needed equipment was available at the start of the project. Designed and constructed 2 new labs in Austin Texas for hardware and quality assurance
