Daily Duties at Metal Forming And Coining:

•Maintain quality systems to assure key processes and procedures are in compliance with the TS 16949 / QS 9000 / ISO 9001 standards. •Resolve customer complaints, including formal corrective actions using appropriate problem solving tools. Follow-up including travel if required. Proactive visits to customers. •Participate in launch activities which including APQP responsibilities. •Communicate quality related issues to plant personnel, as well as promote quality awareness throughout the manufacturing facility. Maintain and communicate quality metrics. •Initiate problem solving methodologies using lean / six sigma principles. •Manage layout (first piece / last piece) program. •Development and operation of the quality system incorporating customer specific requirements including raw material control, in-process and final inspections, procedures, work instructions, communication, correspondence, test and certification requirements. •Coordinate activities of Advanced Quality Planning including the creation of control plans, FMEAs, operator instructions, procedures, and product validation. Review and approval of PPAP. Conduct PSO and complete associated documentation. •Monitor all auditing activities and subsequent corrective actions. Certified TS 16949 and ISO 14001 auditor. •Supervision of quality personnel. •Drive AQP process down to supplier level. Issue SCARs as required and track supplier progress. Review and approve supplier documentation, PPAP submissions and AQP documentation.
