• Provided process and math modeling support to the Plant Optimization group by developing a spreadsheet-based analysis tool deploying MS Excel VBA programs to automatically evaluate plant equipment efficiencies and to validate the overall heat/mass balance of Air Separation Units (ASU). • Gathered first-hand plant experience by tracking plant efficiencies, identifying poorly performing plants, co-conducting plant performance evaluations as well as rotating equipment and identifying energy efficiency improvement opportunities. Co-assisted air separation plant managers to resolve plant problems. • Co-authored plant evaluation reports recommending steps for improved plant throughput as well as quantifying the savings generated due to suggested energy efficient operation. • Assisted in reviewing vendor drawings and documents prior to equipment purchase
