Daily Duties at Defense Logistics Agency:

A combination Quality Assurance Specialist and Computer Specialist at various sites for the Federal Government dealing with MIL-Q-9858A/MIL-I-45208A/MIL-STD-45224 ISO 9000 and the Navy's TQM Program for 12 years. Worked with Windows for PC and Unix for Mainframes. Performed all aspects of Quality from receiving, in-process, final, shipping, contract review, cost to quality, nonconforming material, MRB, quality management, first article and special processes. Interfaced with all forms of management, military officers, foreign dignitaries and NASA. Worked on mechanical, aerospace, aircraft, electrical, electronic, chemical, processes and software. Trained and certified in welding (MIL-W-8404), Weapon Spec Soldering (MIL-STD-2000) and Non-destructive Testing (NDT) of Liquid Dye Penetrant and Ultrasound. Studied for NDT of Radiology. The head of computer operations at the Hughes Aircraft site. Received extensive training in the Navy's TQM programming and Demming's 14 points. Received numerous in-house awards for exemplary work and cost savings
