 Directed all operations for startup Waterjet job shop, serving clients from large to small, including Curtis Wright, Lockheed Martin, Michelin, etc.  Managed all start-up initiatives of company. Gathered equipment quotations, evaluated and made final equipment decisions, and oversaw installation. Wrote business and marketing plans. Selected computer system. Hired, trained, supervised and evaluated staff, including sales, programmers, and personnel in administrative, accounting, purchasing, and general utility capacities.  Oversaw day-to-day affairs of the company, including finance and signoff on any purchases or requests. Prepared payroll and performed A/R, A/P and purchasing functions until others were hired and trained to do so.  Played a central role in development of marketing collateral. Designed graphics and wrote verbiage; collaborated with advertising agency to prepare finished materials. Served as an active participant in trade shows and in customer visits.
