Daily Duties at Standard And Poor's :

As member of New Asset Group, developed criteria and rated publicly offered and privately placed securities involving securitization of emerging/esoteric asset types as well as more traditional ones. Responsible for identification of legal, financial/analytical, structural and embedded derivative issues for each new asset type. Co-led team responsible for revising collateralized debt obligation criteria, led rating committees, presented rating recommendations, performed due diligence, and marketed to investment banks and investors to win mandates. Rated new commercial paper conduits and related transactions. Revised collateralized debt obligation criteria enabling S&P to reenter the market for rating such debt after a four-year absence. Product continues to be one of the largest structured finance products in industry of Company and industry.
