Daily Duties at Zain Gabon (Telecommunication):

 Install and troubleshooting microwave antenna ( 0.6,1.2,1.4,1.6 meter) on the tower  Install and troubleshooting GSM antenna ( 900 MHz and 1800 MHz)  Manage tilt and azimuth for the GSM and microwave antenna  Point to point wireless backhaul configuration  Install RF cable coax,connector,feeder,TMA,polyphaser etc  Install and troubleshooting mini link E and mini link E TN equipment  Install and troubleshooting all PDH and SDH equipment.  Perform configuration on the mini link equipment with the mini link service manager (MSM) ( NPU,MMU,SMU,etc)  Test link between far end site  Perform link connectivity between remote site with BSC and MSC  Perform Manuel E1 cross connect on the chrome or logical routing  Able to resolve all transmission alarm Radio interface:  RBS Ericsson cabinet installation and troubleshooting  Install E1 from the BSC via the transmission cabinet to the RBS  Install fiber optic between the RBS and battery backup system BBS  Install power cable  Install all equipment in the RBS ( TRX,DTRU,CDU,DXU,PFU etc)  Perform RBS radio configuration according the engineering sheet  Load RBS with all IDB version software  Check the state of all time slot TS for all cell.  Able to Resolve all RBS alarm Power interface:  Install and troubleshooting all battery backup system BBS  Install and troubleshooting DC power  Monitor the rectifier alarm on the dc power  Test de battery autonomy on the BBS and DC power  Install and make the basic troubleshooting on the generator  Connect all default alarm of the generator to the transmission equipment General interface:  Work other department to solve the network problem  Test and commission new cell sites and identify deficiencies  Maintain site documentation resulting from engineering activities and contractor work orders  Write incident and fault reports as required. Act on and assist in resolving reported issues  Manage repair and return, warranties, equipment calibration and other operational issues  Provide feedback to planning and engineering teams on operational issues as part of a continuous improvement process
