• Recruited and hired new employees • Maintained employee files and documentation • Filed workman compensation forms, provided jobs while employee was on w/c, insured that all laws regarding w/c were adhered to • Insured that all OSHA rules regarding job safety were adhered to • Verified that all prospect employees were eligible to work in the United States, and had all necessary documentation with regard to Homeland Security Form I-9 • Verified that all employees that filed for Family Medical Leave met the criteria, and accurate records were kept • Supervised all aspects of driver safety including drug testing , driver files, hours of service and logs • Provided a safety program that rewarded safe drivers and discharged those that were not
