Led R&D Software Development Projects involving Telecom Network Management and CLEC/ILEC B2B EDI Gateways Coordinated customer implementation projects Key Accomplishments * Led teams at various stages and releases as the product (InterConnectivity Gateway application using Electronic Data Interchange protocol) evolved. * Performed the role of Product Manager and made significant contributions towards product roadmap by aligning business needs with company strategy. * Managed on-time delivery of 2 Major releases with major improvements in functionality. These releases had greater impact on the usability of the product for the CLEC customers. * Led compliance team and worked with CLECs (Alltel, Allegiance) and ILECs (Verizon, BellSouth, GTE) to get LSOG compliance certifications for the products. * Involved with the complete life cycle of the Gateway product for various releases - Business cases, Requirements gathering, Prototyping, Implementation, Testing, Release, Support * Managed and provided technical support to implementation teams for custom implementations and integrations. * Built and managed connector team to develop mappings for EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions with ILECs (Verizon, BellSouth, GTE) * Results of the contributions were evident when the product became the flagship product for the company in a short period Industry: Telecom (CLECs and ILECs) Environment: Java/J2EE (WebLogic/WebSphere, EJB, XML, JMS, JDBC, JSP/Servlets), C/C++, Database (Oracle, MSSQL), B2B, EDI, SNMP, CMIP, OOA&D, RUP, UML
