Daily Duties at Cma Cgm (America) Llc:
• Responsible for coordination and supervision of vessels operating in USEC ports. • Issuance, distribution of coastal schedules and maintenance of schedule reliability. • Liaise between US terminals and stevedores coordinating labor orders, stowage and overall vessel performance. • Coordinating with Technical Department for delivery of vessel spare parts, vessel repairs and ordering and overseeing vessel repair vendors. • Coordination of husbandry agents regarding arrival, sailing, tugs, pilots, bunkering and any other required vessel service. • Cost versus schedule assessment regarding labor orders and stevedoring services, advising vessel management any cost saving options limiting liability to increased operating costs. • Verification of all loading and discharge figures and stevedoring operational activity as well as verification and approval of all vessel related and stevedoring invoices ensuring correct implementation of VSA and terminal contracts. • Maintenance of vessel and productivity statistics and preparation of weekly marine activity reporting. • Provision of estimated cost quotes for heavy lift, break bulk and OOG cargoes.
