Daily Duties at Cerro Metals:
Executed many mechanical maintenance projects at a brass mill including equipment startups, troubleshooting, setting up PM programs, oil analysis, vibration testing and improving efficiency of equipment. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC’s. Team member of internal QS9000 audits. Supervised personnel to ensure the work was done correctly. • Project leader increasing production in a rotary dryer 25 % • Project leader to reduce scrap rate of an extrusion press by 50 % • Motivated the management to make effective use of their PM program using downtime analysis. This program was so successful that it was used throughout the plant for other pieces of equipment
