Daily Duties at Jack Henry Couture:

Exclusive appointment-only retail boutique catering to the needs of stylists and celebrity clients. Manage start-up and daily operations of ultimate trendsetting store in Los Angeles. Hire and train all new employees. Develop and implement store procedures regarding sales, merchandising, inventory control, and customer service. Work closely with assistant buyer and visual merchandiser to ensure seasonal planning, color selections, and consistent displays. Oversee product sourcing and purchasing for all merchandise. Maintain relations with clientele to ensure individualized attention. Manage company website. Track and report on sales results and profit/loss. Key Achievements: · Provide visionary leadership for a new retail store specializing in high end women’s wear, couture, and editorial style clothing. · Cultivate positive relations with stylists who encompass 90% of customer base, as well as celebrity clients. · Control $50K seasonal budget, traveling worldwide to source spring/summer and fall/winter collections. · Created a niche concept of new designers and one-of-a-kind pieces with no competition in the industry. · Interviewed on and off camera by Women's Wear Daily, Harper's Bazaar, Travel & Leisure, Access Hollywood, Lucky, L.A. Confidential, Style.com, and Angeleo. · Gained publicity through store appearances in The Fabulous Life of Christina Aguilera, Punk'd, Access Hollywood, Queer Eye for the Straight Girl, and Vogue Italia. · Sourced unique clothing which was published in Style, Flaunt, Vogue, Tattler, Elle, Index, and Vanity Fair. · Helped with pulls for In Style, Flaunt, Vogue, Tattler, Elle, Index, Vanity Fair and more.
