Daily Duties at Orgenogenesis Inc:
Responsible for setting up a molecular biology lab, including acquiring a recombinant DNA permit from Canton, drafting the procedure for internal training, budgeting, equipment purchase and personnel hiring. As the project leader for recombinant protein production, I worked on the bench, supervising lab personnel, managed outsourcing and international collaborations, and worked closely with legal department on IP/license issues. I have been working on characterization of cells, using real-time Q-PCR, immunochemistry and flow cytometry to identify protein markers, in the hope to predict the performance of cells in the production of a living skin equivalent product (Apligraf).
