Daily Duties at Cannon Wright Blount:

Executive Assistant to Jud Cannon (CEO), to include managing his schedule, phone calls and messages. Also responsible for managing schedules for other managers in the office. Planning and organization of meetings and seminars. Setting up and implementing use of online employee evaluations and client satisfaction surveys. Set up new clients in both data bases (CCH Client Manager and CCH Practice Manager). Processing of incoming tax data and outgoing tax returns, uploading and transmitting eFile tax returns, uploading documents for Outsourced tax returns as well as downloading finished Outsourced tax returns. Management of tax software and client tracking. Management of various projects, to include spreadsheets and Word documents, scanning documents and moving them to appropriate client folders. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly billing for accounting clients, as well as tax return billing. Occasional reception responsibilities to include greeting clients, answering phones, receiving faxes and distributing to appropriate staff members, and some firm deposits. Also responsible for weekly marketing letters for QuickBooks sales.
