Daily Duties at Communication Education Centers:

Facilitate the transition of offender housed at the federal half-way house into the community. Oversee and manage a case load of 30 residents. Assist offender in securing employment, residence and community resources. Provide individual and group counseling in areas of substance/alcohol abuse, physical/mental health problems and life skills. Maintain procedures that ensure resident’s accountability, manage individual program plans, case notes, passes, furloughs, home verifications and home confinement status and other field work. Communicate with lawyers, judges, probation officers and other outside agencies.
