8/80 to 2/93 B.F. Goodrich purchased by Motion Control Industries Bloomington, In. I was the Purchasing Supervisor responsible for setting departmental goals and direct supervision of the purchasing function at this brake manufacturing plant. During the entire period we realized a negative inflation rate though redesign and worldwide sourcing. I was part of the original start up team for this facility when it was transferred from Troy, Ohio. We had an annual spend of 20 million. This facility had an inventory accuracy rate of 99 %. This plant provided parts to the Off Highway and Mining market. I was responsible for all casting purchasing including Iron, Steel and Aluminum.
