Daily Duties at University Of Maryland Medical System:
Successfully worked with the Core Genesys support team for implementing improvements to the functionality of Genesys software in preparation for conversion to the new HRIS/Payroll System. • ADDING COMPANY TO THE GENESYS PAYROLL/HR SYSTEM o Modified all programs to support a new company being added to the GENESYS payroll system. This included the changes required for external and internal interfaces, reports, data edits. • ASSISTED IN THE CONVERSION OF THE GENESYS SYSTEM TO THE LAWSON PAYROLL/BENEFITS SYSTEM: o Learned the Lawson CASE programming tools which were used to create reports and interfaces for both internal reporting and external reporting (insurance companies, etc) o Defined the requirements for the data mapping and created all of the conversion transactions required for all of the subsystems: Payroll, HR, BENEFITS. o Created FTP scripts for interfaces files which would process either externally or called within the program. This also included creating external jobs that would have to either be scheduled or run by the user.
