Daily Duties at Christiana Care Health System:

Successfully worked with the Core Genesys support team for implementing improvements to the functionality of Genesys software in preparation for conversion to the new HRIS/Payroll System. • CREATED NEW DEDUCTIONS FOR FITNESS CENTER o Added new deduction to the GENESYS system which involved in modifications to the General Ledger Interface, interface reports for the Payroll Department. This also involved interfacing reports to the Fitness Center for deductions that were not taken for various reasons. • DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED FLEX SPENDING ACCOUNT (FSA) ELECTRONIC INTERFACE FOR AETNA INSURANCE COMPANY o Created electronic interface for the CHRISTIANACARE FSA deductions based on the specifications supplied by AETNA. This required developing new programs, reports, and files that would be accessed by the HR department with an access procedure supplied by AETNA. This also included direct interface with the vendor for validation of the data. • Contributed IN THE PROJECT OF CONVERTING THE GENESYS SYSTEM TO THE ULTIPRO SYSTEM. THIS REQUIRED THE FOLLOWING TASKS TO BE COMPLETED o Create settlement reports from the GENESYS SYSTEM which were used by the ULTIPRO consultant to settle the conversion of YTD HOURS and MONEY of all earnings and deductions. o Using Microsoft Access, producing files and reports for both the user department and the ULTIPRO consultant for analysis of ULTIPRO data. o Learning the COGNOS reporting tool and developing reports for both the Payroll and HR Departments
