 Worked directly for project architect in the drafting of construction documents for educational facilities.  Employed Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) systems to generate drawings that provided visual guidelines, showing the technical details of the products and structures, specifying dimensions, materials to be used, as well as procedures and processes to be followed.  Utilized knowledge of standardized building techniques to draw technical details using drawings, rough sketches, specifications, codes, and calculations previously made by engineers.  Performed quality assurance checks on all work produced to ensure local building codes and standards were met.  Responsible for checking and adhering to local building codes, ADA compliance, and overall life safety standards.
