Daily Duties at Georgia Pacific:
1. Direct Sales- 01/1995- 12/1998 Purchased and sold direct mill and import/container shipments to major retailers and production shops in southeast, midwest, and northeast markets. Negotiated purchase costs with vendors and sell pricing to customers, thus maintaining direct control on GM returns. Major Accomplishments- Direct Sales: * Established Georgia Pacific as a major supplier of bulk millwork sales * Assisted with the overall growth of Georgia Pacific's warehouse sales by securing the total needs (volume direct and piece-pick warehouse sales) of the larger dealers, shops, and chains. * Strengthened the purchasing power of GP millwork by taking our producers excess production, thus helping to secure lowers costs. 2. Territory Sales- 12/1989- 01/1995 Facilitated the setting up and maintaining of millwork accounts and production shops. Identified, developed, and evaluated marketing and sales strategies based on established goals and objectives. Major Accomplishments- Territory Sales: * Successfully set up stocking programs with Cox Lumber and Scotty's, two of the largest chains in central Florida. * Established strong pull-through sales via architects/builders with our Peachtree Door
