Daily Duties at Naf/Dod/Child & Youth:

Duties: This center received National Accreditation under my leadership in June of 2005. I oversee the daily operation of the program. I ensure that the staff training needs is identified and resources are available to accomplish training. I inspect the facility for proper operating conditions and compliance with DOD safety standards. I ensure all program objectives are met and the program is in compliance with the Army and NSACA standards and ensure that a maintenance plan is in place to sustain accreditation. I provide resources to purchase age appropriate equipment and materials for School Age Services. Then I ensure equipment and materials are purchased to eliminate deficient areas. I submit various daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports as required by the Department of the Army. I perform budget administrative functions including briefing the post commander and assist in maintaining effective management of financial and physical resources. I promote special events and partnerships with different agencies on and off post to carry on such events during the month of the military child and throughout the whole year.
