Daily Duties at Sierra Nevada College:
Prepare annual budget for private, four-year Liberal Arts College. Coordinate and oversee departmental budgeting activities. Train others in budget related policies and procedures. Assist with financial statement review and analysis. Prepare monthly standard journal entries. Reconciliation of donations and pledges. Assist with the set-up and maintenance of fee assessment for each new term. Process the annual tax form 1099 for vendors. Analyze financial data and develop complex reports for forecasting. Access report writing/ad hoc analysis. Assist Controller with year-end closing. Assist with external audit schedules in preparation for annual audit. Develop departmental trend reports for analyzing changes in cost/profit centers. Automated financial statements. Re-developed accounting financial reporting package for the Board of Directors.
