Daily Duties at Chatsworth Products,Inc:
• Programmed and operated CNC machines using the most current Ap100 and Amnest Software available to auto and manually nest parts on aluminum/steel sheets and reduce waste • Operated and programmed NC press brakes • Supervised several employees, including evaluations and performance counseling • Coached peers regarding how to read and understand the blue print and trained them to perform the bend sequence of the parts • Trained new employees on how to operate and maintain machinery, to ensure that Production was met on a daily basis, while maintaining a safe work environment • Organized and maintained the sheet metal department • Participated in daily production planning meetings • Designed and implemented Excel job aid to assist others by matching parts inventory to daily production requirements • Stayed current on Quality control issues • Managed daily scrap and safety concerns • Assisted in ISO9001:2000 internal audits and external assessments • Performed semi-annual inventory of all products and materials • Operated various forklifts
