• Responsible for Processing Vendor Invoices (2,000 Invoices Weekly) and Issuing Payments (200 Checks Weekly) for five companies operating as a consolidated group. • Reviewing Brokerage Agreements for proper supporting documentation to ensure timely and accurate payments and maintain company profit objectives. • Maintained subsidiary ledgers, providing timely reconciliations of Account Balances related to Equipment Contracts and General Ledger Balances. • Managed all Vendor correspondence with a focus on increased communication during periods of limited cash flow. • Responsible for Planning, Scheduling, and Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements for five companies. • Responsible for General Ledger Maintenance, including Recording Journal Entries, Balancing Ledgers, and Reconciling Bank Statements. • Maintaining General Ledger supporting schedules, enhancing annual audit preparation, which reduced auditor’s field work resulting in lower audit costs. • Maintained Fixed Asset Files, recording purchases and disposals and providing detailed schedules for tax preparers.
