Daily Duties at Gyros, Inc:
Directly train and assist customers in developing immunoassay applications for protein quantification using the fully automated Gyrolab Bioaffy Workstation utilizing microfluidic CD technology. This includes instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of the instrument. Develop new assay applications for the Bioaffy CD platform. Current applications include: quantification of IgG (monoclonal antibodies), Biomarkers, Aggregates, Cytokines, Insulin, Host Cell Proteins (HCP), and Immunogenicity (ADA) studies. Assist the Regional Sales Managers in developing new leads by attending conferences, trade shows, local science meetings, using internet search engines, receiving daily e-mail alerts from Pharma and Biotech newsletters, and cold calling.
