Daily Duties at Ahold:
Monitor the Ahold Telecommunication network and operating companies of the enterprise. Ensure the integrity and availability of the network. Take corrective action in the event of an outage. Proactively monitor all aspects of the network utilizing network management tools provided by the company, primarily NVK6 and Tivoli. Coordinate and assist with the installation, modification and trouble shooting of all circuits, hardware and software. Responsible for working with communication vendor and second level network support to facilitate resolution and reliability testing. Monitor Netview for store problems Monitor Stratus for Outages Worked with 2nd level Telcom for problem resolution Used Remedy to open problem tickets with Bell South
