Daily Duties at Bi Lo:
Provide technical support for all mainframe and distributed processing plus monitors all networking platforms. Responsibility for addressing all hardware, system and applications issues at 1st level. Interact with all support groups to resolve any issues that could have a negative impact on the operating environment and service levels to our customers.. Coordinates the resolution of system software and application problems that impact service to the business. Provide timely and accurate updates to tickets in the problem management system. Knowledge of Control-M/R/D/O, CICS, IMS, IDMS, DB2, Tivoli. Provide daily support of the data center Monitor all mainframe and distributed jobs Monitor Netview - this shows the network connectivity to our stores Monitor nightly backups Monitor Mainframe and Distributed tape drives
