Daily Duties at Apria Healthcare:

Performing duties as IV Technician for Home Infusion Facility. ·Compounding mixtures using aseptic technique. ·Preparation of Home Pumps, Cassettes on a daily basis. ·Preparation of large volume of TPN’S, LVP on a daily basis that includes reconstituting, compounding & adding drug to base solution like Normal Saline, D5W, Sterile water, removing air from the bags as per order. ·Making Gammagard liquid bags using tubing. ·Operating Baxter compounding TPN machine to make TPN's. ·Preparation of Chemotherapy IV, Cassettes with tubing attached, Bags with Cadd Admin set attached ·Stocking IV room with supplies as & when needed. ·Logging in temperature on a daily basis in the temperature logbook. ·Assisting Pharmacist in the Unit dose area when not busy in the IV room, filling in unit-dose order requests.
