Daily Duties at First Care Health Plans:
My first position (Administrative Ass't.-Medical Services) and second position (Administrative Ass't. - Brand Marketing) with this company were eliminated. In Brand Marketing, I created a health and nutrition calendar for use in an advertising project. My last position as Sales Administrator was a promotion where I was given more responsibilities. I held this position for 2 years. On a daily basis, I processed requests for quotes for employer groups. Requested stop loss quotes from reinsurance carriers. Abstracted rates and contingencies from stop loss quotes and incorporated them into Excel spreadsheet for comparison analysis. Calculated broker commissions and prepared formal financial proposals. Distributed proposals to brokers/agents. Served as the liaison between brokers and reinsurance underwriters. Created various reports and as an account manager, provided excellent customer service to employer groups/brokers regarding any claims/provider issues. Processed medical claims through AMISYS. Maintained confidential health information according to HIPAA guidelines.
